She is famous Ukrainian gymnast who became the 1996 Olympic all-around champion,the 1995 Artistic Gymnastics World Championship all-around champion and the 1996 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championship all-around champion.

At the European Championship, she earned four medals, winning bronze in the vault and team events.
